They were easy to build and even have a somewhat built in look as they fit in my baseboards and snugly against the walls. Nice tempered glass doors as well. The doors were a little tricky to adjust. Saved tons of money buying these vs spending thousands of dollars on custom built ins. They’re flexible, durable and beautiful.5

Looks so fantasticVerified BuyerFor my room with the window location etc I actually spit it up and added and additional center unit and added doors to each of the center units. We love love love it. The whole wall is basically glass front cabinets - floor to ceiling - except for the window. It gives our library/study the look of a library study. it is exactly what I had been looking for years. I didn't find it hard to put together etc, but we have done 2 Ikea kitchens on our own... so there is a lot of experience with the hinge system etc.5
Doors fell off overnightVerified BuyerAssembled this last night, got all of the doors adjusted and so on, and it looked perfect in our living room. I came out the next morning to find that three of the four doors had their top hinges rip out from the side panels and hanging askew - now I have a massive amount of furniture to return that I have to take hours to take it apart to fit back into my car.2
Love, Love this book case!!Verified BuyerI bought this about 2 years ago with some trepidation because I was not too sure about the construction, but for the price I went on ahead with the purchase. I changed the door handles and added some lights on top and they look great even after 2 yrs. Also, with the doors, things don't get dusty inside the bookcase. I would just note 3 things to watch out for during assembly: first, be aware that you have the doors in the correct direction before installing. Second, be careful when attaching the back panels as they are a bit delicate. And finally, because of the height of the bookcase and as a safety precaution, use the clip to bolt the bookcase to the wall.5
